How To Create Perfect Health?

I am an Integrative Nutritionist and have been studying Ayurveda since 2011. What I love about Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga, is that it is practical, logical and has been around for 5000 years. This science is a way of life and or knowledge. Ayurveda continues to be one of the worlds most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems. It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full potential.

Living within the cycles of Mother Nature, is the backbone of this ancient science, which provides a clear understanding to how all things must and will find balance. There is a Yin to every Yang, what goes up must come down and so on. With this understanding of basic physics, Ayurveda provides the guiding principles to understanding how to achieve perfect health in your body, mind and spiritual practice and the interconnection of all things.

You aren’t an isolated collection of atoms and molecules; you are an inseparable part of the infinite field of intelligence. From this holistic perspective, health isn’t merely the absence of illness- it is a higher state of consciousness that allows vitality, well-being, creativity and joy to flow into your experience. In contrast, illness is a disruption-a blockage in the flow of energy and information that creates a sense of separation. Ayurveda says disease is the final expression of toxic accumulation in the mind-body physiology. Symptoms are just the body’s signal that you need to restore balance, eliminate the cause for blockages and reestablish a healthy flow.

The main guiding principles of Ayurveda:

  1. The mind and body are connected.
  2. Nothing has more power to heal and transform the body than the mind.
  3. Ayurveda focuses on the individual, not the disease.
